Kathleen {wedding | lake ripely, wi}

Another amazing bride this last weekend. Kathleen and her family have had a house on Lake Ripley for many, many years. They have made the trek up to the lake house so many times, why not get hitched there?!  I didn't have a chance to stick around too long but I got to see some of the cute decorations they were displaying at the house (where happy hour would be) and as I was leaving I noticed a cross stitch heart with B + K embraced in a hoop and a tiny bouquet of baby's breath in the mailbox flag.... these guys were fun, cute, and I wish them many years of bliss!

the grand opening

I had a lot of fun putting things together for the grand opening! I love designing, decorating and promoting my business. I know I like to call it "harassing" to some of you but the one thing I've learned in the last year is if you don't ask, people can't say YES... so thanks to all of you that could make it and help celebrate. I mean it's not hard with raffles, a d.j. and open bar, right?! A big thanks to those who brought or sent gifts for the open house, you are all too sweet!

And of course besides my family & clients I couldn't have done any of this without the man behind the curtain woman... Geoff has been a tremendous help throughout the whole process of leaving my previous job and taking a risk and jumping in feet first to becoming an entrepreneur. Whether it's making me a drink and sounding off new ideas or venting on the glitches along the way. He believed in me before I did.... Thanks babe!

Keely {wedding | elkhorn, wi}

This last weekend was a crazy one but very rewarding! With my Grand Opening Friday night(post to follow) and an amazing, unique wedding Saturday I just had to share some Instagram pics...

Keely's wedding was held at Camp Wandawega in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Her and her family were some of the nicest people I have ever met! I met her and her mom a couple months ago when she came in for a bridal trial. She was such an easy going bride and very kind to all who surround her. She even did "thank you" bags for the guests & vendors which included ponchos, flashlights, wine, snacks, bottled water, and bug repellant. Keely resides in Chicago with her now husband while both their families are pretty spread out so why not have a destination wedding at a very unique, vintage feel, campground?!

Stay tuned for some professional pics of this wedding.
